17th Wattie’s Cans Film Festival (1st November 2010)

I've just returned from Reading Cinemas on Courtenay Central after swapping 2 cans of food for 2 tickets to movie Despicable Me next Wednesday for me and Jono! Each year, Wattie's has a promotion called the Wattie's Cans Film Festival where for a can of food, you get to swap it for a ticket to a family blockbuster (Despicable Me was our preferred blockbuster from the choices available) and Wattie’s will match each can donated with one of its own. All cans go to The Salvation Army to help those in need especially leading up to the Christmas period. It's a great way to support a good cause AND enjoy a night out at the movies :) Hurry and get your cans to participating cinemas before all the tickets get sold out!
